Okay I don't know how I haven't seen this crap before, but holy shit I watched it at school today and I lol'd so fucking hard. The first minute and a half is really the best of it, but damn, what a brilliant minute and a half.

I just heard that Teddy O'Connor was euthanized today due to severe lacerations of tendons and ligaments in his hind leg that occurred when he spooked, bolted, and slipped at the stables.
That little horse had so much talent and so much heart. He was so athletic, and he'd earned such a massive, inspiring following. I certainly didn't know him, and yet I just feel so sad. This is a really hard time for the horse world. All the tragedies at Rolex this year, Eight Belles' death, Big Brown's injuries, and now this. It's just so damn sad.
I'm going to post a link to Teddy's page on the OCET website, and I encourage everyone (horsey and non-horsey people alike) to check it out. He was a really amazing athlete with such enormous, unheard of talent in the eventing world. You don't have to be a rider to appreciate something like that.
